How do I create an Offer?
Brands can create onchain marketing offers for any X account. However, if a Brand sends an offer to an X user, they will be responsible for communicating with that user to let them know they have an offer waiting for them on Tunnl.
To create a new offer, click on the "Create an Offer" button on the left hand side of the homepage and connect your desired wallet. Note that your wallet must support the Base blockchain.
Steps to Create an Offer
After clicking on "Create an Offer" Brands have to fill in all the necessary parameters as follows.
Who is receiving the offer?
Here, provide the X handle of the desired Creator to which you wish to send the offer. Note that you can send an offer to any Creator on X, however you must contact them in order to let them know they have an offer waiting for them on Tunnl.
You can also use the Discover page to find Creators to work that have already signed up for Tunnl. However, you will still be responsible for letting these Creators know if you have sent then an offer as Tunnl does not have built-in notifications at this time.
What is the offer for?
Offer name: Choose a proper and understandable offer name for the Creator
Post requirements: Describe the post requirements here which the Creator must follow. This can include required words, scripts, hashtags, cashtags, X account tags, and more. Any misinterpretation here may lead to failure of the marketing campaign so be as clear and specific about the requirements as possible. This requirements will be used in an AI-verification prompt which will determine if the Creator's post is valid to receive payment.
Read about the AI verification process in more detail here: AI Post Verification
Note that if there is any dispute about the AI verification outcome, users may contact Tunnl within 24 hours after post submission to request a manual review here.
What is the value of this offer?
Creator Payment: This is the value of the offer in USDC which the Creator will receive on successful completion of the offer.
How long do creators have to accept the offer ?
Brands must select a deadline by which the Creator must accept the offer. Note that this deadline must be at least 1 full day into the future to give Creators ample time to accept. After they accept, the Creator will have 24 hours to make a valid post and submit it to Tunnl.
If the Creator does not accept the offer before this deadline, the offer will expire and there will be no charge.
After successfully submitting a valid post, the post must remain live for at least 3 days (72 hours). If the post is still live, payment is automatically sent 4 days (96 hours) after the Creator originally accepted the offer (24 hour submission window + 72 hour duration for which content must be live).
What happens if the creator does not submit a valid post before submission expiration?
If a Creator accepts an offer but does not submit a valid post which meets the specified requirements within 24 hours, the offer will expire. Funds will automatically be returned to the Brand after another 72 hours, minus the flat fee which is withheld to cover any transaction fees and API costs incurred by Tunnl.
Depositing Funds
After confirmation of the offer details, the Brand will have to approve an allowance for Tunnl Smart Contract. The net allowance amount includes the Creator Payment, Flat Fee and Percentage Fee charged by the Tunnl platform.
Flat Fee: 5 USDC
Percentage Fee: 5% of the Creator Payment
To confirm, click on the button 'Approve and Create'.

Step 1: USDC Approval
After clicking on "Approve and Create" you should see a USDC spending request appear in your connected wallet equal to the total payment amount with all fees. Approve this transaction and wait until the transaction is confirmed onchain.
